Xishuangbanna: A paradise of culture,

biodiversity and serenity

In December of this year, Mothilal
Hissella, Head of the International Re-
lations at Sri Lanka Rupavahini Cor-
poration (SLRC), was invited to attend
the 2024 South and Southeast Asian
Media Network Annual Conference held
in Yunnan’s Xishuangbanna Dai Au-
tonomous Prefecture. During his visit,
Mothilal gained a deeper understanding
of Xishuangbanna’s rich biodiversity and
vibrant ethnic culture. He believes that
Xishuangbanna is a charming paradise
waiting to be explored by tourists, and
that he has gained much from this trip.

今年 12 月，斯里兰卡国家电视台国际
部主任莫提拉尔·黑塞尔勒受邀到云南省
西双版纳傣族自治州参加南亚东南亚媒体
联盟年会，在参访期间，莫提拉尔对西双
版纳丰富的生物多样性和充满活力的民
族文化有了更深的了解。他认为，西
双版纳是一个充满魅力、亟待游客
探索的天堂，此行他收获颇丰。
