In 2024, China announced the introduction of the “Lancang-Mekong Visa” for the five Mekong River countries, enabling eligible
business personnel to secure a 5-year multiple-entry visa to China. Furthermore, the transit visa exemption period for foreigners will
be extended from the original 72 and 144 hours to 240 hours (10 days). As this visa exemption policy is further implemented, Yun-
