Tourism bridges
Yunnan and Angkor
In 2024, the “Year of China-Cambodia People-to-People Exchange” takes center stage, un-
derscoring the importance of fostering connections between individuals within the six-pronged
“diamond” cooperation framework that exists between China and Cambodia. Over the course of
this year, individuals from Yunnan and Cambodia have engaged in reciprocal visits. By exploring the
world heritage sites in each other’s regions, they gain a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural leg-
acy and timeless value these sites hold.
