进博会，见证发展与友谊

This November, as the eastern winds sweep along the Huangpu River, the China International Import Expo
(CIIE), the world’s first national-level expo dedicated solely to imports, will mark its eighth edition.
The CIIE serves as both the estuary where the global economy meets the Chinese market and a vital bridge
connecting China with the world. It offers a grand stage to witness China’s high-standard opening-up and an
immersive space to experience the vast potential of its domestic market.
From this vantage point, the estuary and bridge that is the CIIE, our reporters gathered perspectives from
Dr. Prakash Kumar Shrestha, a monetary economist from Nepal and former Executive Director of the Nepal Ra-
stra Bank, and Chiranjaya Udumullage, a Sri Lankan exhibitor, on open cooperation and future development.
