When light and shadow serve as a universal language, dialogue ignites ideas and fosters new understandings through
exchange. From November 27 to December 1, Kunming and Qujing hosted the closing events of the 2025 Lancang-Mekong
Audiovisual Week: the “Lancang-Mekong Eyes on Yunnan” study tour and the “Quality Learning Program” interna-
tional media elite training course.
The gathering brought together media professionals from China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vi-
etnam, Bangladesh and Indonesia. Together, they explored new narrative possibilities through the lens, refined
their audiovisual craftsmanship, and joined in a collective act of creation. With diverse voices aligned in a single
purpose, they channeled a shared aspiration into the language of light and shadow.
